As much as I want to, there is a good chance I won't be able to stay up for that game. Instead, I will likely wait until the middle of the night when I have to get up and use the bathroom and covertly check the score so my phone screen doesn't wake @mrsbozz up. I'm really pulling for Indiana though. Meanwhile, like I said, there is also some NFL stuff going on this weekend. Things get started on Saturday afternoon when the Bills take on the Broncos. This is going to be a tough one for me, because I honestly like both teams. I can't really say who I am going to pull for on this one, but the Broncos have the edge record-wise. That being said, they have been sitting for a couple weeks now and may have gotten stale. Either that or they are rested and ready to go. Later on Saturday the 49ers take on the Seahawks. I'm definitely pulling for San Fran in this one. I've never been much of a Seattle fan. Sorry to my HIVE friends that live in that area. Finally, on Sunday we have the Texans vs. the Patriots and then the Rams vs. the Bears later that night. Stafford should be pretty comfortable leading the Rams against Chicago. Yes, it's virtually a new team from when he spent his time in Detroit, but I have feeling he will do what he normally does. The real wildcard at this point is Chicago. Are they going to show up, barely scrape by, or fall flat. As for the Patriots and the Texans, I'm kind of indifferent on that one. Meanwhile, it was only a matter of time, but it seems that a betting scandal has finally rocked the college basketball world. Sure, there have been things here and there in the past, but this is a massive 20 person indictment that alleges fixing games in both the college realm and the Chinese Basketball Association. It seems they were smart enough to focus on lower tier teams and not many from the power conferences that get a lot more scrutiny. Nevertheless, the truth always comes out. If this doesn't totally turn you off from college basketball, there are some games on this weekend. If you had to pick one or two to focus on, I would suggest The Kentucky/Tennessee game on Saturday at noon. Also the Alabama/Oklahoma game could be good and a nice home upset for Oklahoma. Florida has been on a tear lately, so it wouldn't be surprising if they played spoiler when they head to Nashville to face Vanderbilt at 2:00 PM. I'd also recommend the Arkansas/Georgia game at 4:00 PM. As for me, I'll be focusing on the Michigan State/Washington game Saturday night at 6:00 PM. That's all I've got for this week.
