Last Man Standing Gameweek 9 Results

Last week I asked who was next to bottle it, and the answer came back loud and clear. Aston Villa. At home. To Fulham. Premier League Gameweek 9 was our fourth round of Last Man Standing, and it took 8 of ye out in one go. We went from 12 to 4. FOUR. There's more people in the graveyard now than at a Hull home game on a wet Tuesday, and the tea is getting cold because I can't keep up with the new arrivals.
Five of ye. FIVE!!! And here's the kicker. @davideownzall, @hatdogsensei and @onemanonewrite didn't even pick Villa, the system did it for ye because ye forgot. Last week I was saying the auto picks were geniuses. I take it all back. The auto pick giveth and the auto pick taketh away. @valentin86 and @wildlifelover at least went down on their own terms, which I respect, even if Villa clearly didn't.
Man City (drew nil all at home to Brighton), 2 gone: @lazzvi, @sportsgeek
City at home to Brighton is the kind of pick ye make when ye want an easy week. Nil all. Point to note, @lazzvi was the man who sailed through last week on an auto pick, decided to pick for himself this time, and went out. There's a lesson in there somewhere but I'm not sure I want to learn it.
Man United (lost 2 nil at Chelsea), 1 gone: @palomap3
United. Away at Chelsea. I'm not even going to say anything, I'll just leave that there for @niallon11 to read.
Coventry (beat Sunderland 3 goals to 1): @friendlymoose
Brentford (beat Nottingham Forest 2 nil): @jrmeski
Bournemouth (beat Leeds United 2 nil), auto pick: @sb-deebrady
Fair play to the four of ye. @jaki01 backed Spurs and Spurs delivered again, two wins on the bounce, and I'm loving every minute of it. @friendlymoose went with Coventry, which takes a bit of nerve, and it came off. @jrmeski trusted Brentford a week after they knocked three people out, brave man. And @sb-deebrady is the last auto picker standing, still in it without lifting a finger. Hell, maybe that's the strategy.
And the big game of the weekend, Liverpool v Arsenal, Arsenal won 1 nil at Anfield and not one of the 12 picked either side. Smartest thing anyone did all week.
Friday 6 November
Remember ye can't pick the same team twice, so with four left the options are only going to get tighter from here.
4 left and 200 HIVE + 5,000 MEDALS on the table. Who's bottling it next?
