Part of me doesn't feel to bad that I haven't really watched a single Lions game at all this season. I may have caught glimpses here and there I guess, but for the most part I have been too busy to just sit and watch the dumpster fire burn. It's not surprising to me that the Lions faithful are already starting to see calls for the firing of Dan Campbell. I'm not sure I want to go that far quite yet, but it is pretty clear that Ben Johnson may have played a more integral part in the Lions success over Dan Campbell. The one thing that Campbell has always promised us here in Detroit is "grit", and sadly, that grit seems to be more of a fine sand than the coarse gravel intensity that we were hoping for. I don't know if there is a way to fix it at this point. Dropping Goff might be a great idea. Let him go home and cuddle up to his model wife. Don't believe me? Google it. Defense would be a good idea as well. I mean any defense. Just give me something. We have some huge names that should be doing some amazing things, but based on the scores and outcomes I am seeing, they are either sleeping or on the take! Browns beat the Steelers on Thursday night 27 to 24, Colts took down the Commanders in London 30 to 13, and the Patriots had a really good game against the Bills handing Buffalo their first loss of the season 29 to 26. I did watch most of that game. The Bears beat the Jets 23 to 12, the Jaguars handled the Bengals 22 to 17, and the Giants beat the Cardinals 36 to 24. Meanwhile, the Rams bounced back from their loss last week beating the Eagles 24 to 20, The Packers just barely beat the Buccaneers 17 to 14, and The Ravens tackled the Titans 24 to 18. That's a really sad start for the Buc's going 0 and 4 so far this season after being one of the favorites to win it all just a few short years ago. The Cowboys beat the Texans 34 to 30, the Vikings beat the Dolphins 15 to 10, and the Chiefs beat the Raiders 30 to 27. Which probably puts the Lions at the bottom of the AFC central at this point. Awesome. The 49ers beat the Broncols 24 to 14, the Seahawks took down the Chargers 30 to 23, and The Lions bent over while the Panthers beat them 32 to 26. Finally, last night, the Falcons slapped the Saints 45 to 24. The good news is, the Lions aren't the worst team in the league, that honor goes to The Chargers, Texans, Titans, and Buc's all at 0 and 4. Meanwhile, The Vikings, Chiefs, and 49ers are all sitting at 4-0 on the season.
