That leaves just two teams left to sort things out and give us the last of the four teams that will be moving on to the American League Division Series and the National League Division Series. I made it home in time to watch the end of the Phillies/Braves game that went into ten innings before the Phillies took the 4 to 3 win and forced a game three. Then I transitioned into the White Sox/Astros game where the Sox took a commanding 4 to 0 lead in the first inning. The Stros weren't ready to be done and they chipped away over the next four innings or so before the Sox closed the door with a three run homer to go up 7 to 3. Houston now gets to stay at home while Chicago advances to the ALDS. The Yankees flexed their muscles bitch slapping the Red Sox after a 9 to 0 shut out yesterday beating them 9 to 2 last night. This sends the Red Sox home and moves those damn Yankees on to the ALDS. Finally, we had the Padres taking down the Cubs 4 to 1 and sending the Cubby's back to Chicago to try again next year. Phillies and Braves will see who gets to move along to the NLDS in an 8 PM EST game tonight before we head into a weekend of fun. Right now the White Sox will face the Guardians, The Yankees go up against the Rays, and The Padres are facing the Brewers. I almost feel a bit sorry for whoever wins between the Braves and the Phillies because that means they have to face the Dodgers. After a four match losing streak, my nieces college volleyball team is working on stringing together a new streak with two back to back wins against Bay College and Kirtland Community College. I haven't done a great job of following the Montcalm Community College Centurions lately, but I hope to change that. Meanwhile, in the NCAA Division I, Nebraska and Pittsburgh stay at the top with zero lost matches on the season. Kentucky, Louisville, and SMU make up the rest of the top five with zero movement over the past week. Wisconsin also retains their number 6 position before we finally see a bit of movement. Florida moves up to the number 7 position from 8 last week, and Texas flip flops with them moving from 7 down to 8. TCU moves up to 8 from 11 and Purdue holds strong in the ten spot. Tennessee climbs to 11 from 13, Arizona State drops to 12 from 9, and Stanford loses a step falling from 12 to 13. Texas A&M moves up two spots from 16 to 14, and Indiana moves up three spots from 18 to 15. Meanwhile Penn State drops from 14 down to 16. Oregon moves up to 17 from 20, BYU takes the 18 spot after sitting in 22 last week, and Kansas holds strong at number 19. Minnesota tumbles down five spots to 20 from 15, Baylor does the same going from 17 to 21, and Washington and Utah enter the top 25 after having been unranked at slots 22 and 23. Finally, the rest of the field is rounded out with Colorado taking a tumble from 21 to 24, and North Carolina dropping one spot from 24 to 25. ---------- ### [My Sports Account - @bozz.sports](https://www.peakd.com/@bozz.sports) ---------- #### Come hang out in [The Pub](https://peakd.com/c/hive-178138/created) [Find us on Discord](https://discord.gg/cCEMJXAEXk) Or Check out my [Grilling and Smoking Community on HIVE](https://peakd.com/c/hive-138631/created) ------------- ![TEAMUSAhive_footer_bozz.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/bozz/fXpCTKUZ-TEAMUSA-hive_footer_bozz.jpg) ---------------- *All pictures/screenshots taken by myself or @mrsbozz unless otherwise sourced*
