Championship Series

We are officially in the middle of the American League and National League Championship Series. The World Series is just a breath away as we barrel through the best of seven games to see who will be playing against each other. I honestly didn't anticipate things going the way they have so far. It's not that I care about baseball as much as I care about other sports, but I am a bit interested in it. I wouldn't be posting about it if I wasn't.
So Saturday we had the final game in a best of five series between the Cleveland Guardians and the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox had gone up two games to zero pretty quickly in the series, but Cleveland clawed back with some massive wins in games three and four to force a game five at home in Cleveland.
Sure enough, they were able to complete the series and they beat Chicago 2 to 0 on Saturday to send them packing home. I bet it was a long ride back to Chicago. Especially after having handed the Yankees such a decisive loss and then taking the first two games against Cleveland.
Which leads us to Sunday and the first game of the NLCS between the Dodgers and the Brewers. In an absolute stunner for me, the Brewers took down the Dodgers 2 to 1 to take the first game of the series. I really didn't expect that to happen.
Imagine how much more surprised I was on Monday when the Brewers did it again beating LA 7 to 4 in home game for them. I was actually watching a good portion of this game and I have to say, the stadium in Milwaukee looks absolutely beautiful. I'd love to get over there to watch a game on day.
Meanwhile, the Guardians started their series against Tampa Bay and came way with a 7 to 3 game one win down in Florida. Game two of the ALCS happened last night with the Rays bouncing back and beating the Guardians 3 to 1. Personally, I want to see the Rays win this series. Given the fact that the Tigers are in the AL Central, I don't really want to see some other team from the AL Central do well. I know that probably sounds counterintuitive, but that's just the way I feel. If it can't be the Tigers, then it shouldn't be anyone from the AL Central.
Game three between the Brewers and Dodgers takes place tonight, then we have both leagues playing tomorrow.
Just as recap, this is a best of seven series and currently Milwaukee is up 2 to 0 over LA and Tampa Bay and Cleveland are deadlocked at 1 and 1.
