Winner, Winner

It was a shocking weekend for me as far as the NFL goes. I actually got the chance to sit around the house and watch the Lions play their game against the Vikings. I wasn't expecting much given the fact that the Vikings are/were the best team in the league, but then the Lions did the unthinkable and they actually managed to beat the Vikings. It was pretty awesome.
As a Lions fan, I kept waiting for the inevitable to happen. Either some stupid penalty, or some wild error by the officials that would snatch the victory away from Detroit. Thankfully, that didn't happen, and at the end of the day all I could do is shake my head at the wild fortune that was bestowed upon the Lions.
Let me be clear, this is a far cry from the win over Arizona, but it is also not an indication that all is right in the world. The Lions still have a ton of stuff to work on. There is zero doubt about that. The road to the end of the season is going to be a rough one for them. There will be a huge spotlight on that Bears game on Thanksgiving for sure if both teams keep winning.
In other news, the Packers beat the Panthers 27 to 19, The Bills beat the Ravens 36 to 10, and The Bengals beat the Titans in overtime 43 to 36. The Cardinals also got an overtime win over The Cowboys 33 to 30 in a pretty epic field goal victory. There is actually video of one of the Dallas players trotting off the field before the ball was even through the uprights.
The Lions beat the Vikings 19 to 15, The Radiers beat the Jets 38 to 33, and the Steelers beat the Brows 27 to 6.
The Buccaneers got a shut out win against the Falcons 16 to 0, The Jaguars beat the Colts 42 to 7, and The Rams beat the Chargers 24 to 9.
The Chiefs had a heartbreaking loss to the Broncos 28 to 24 which came by way of a very controversial ending. I'll let you look it up and be the judge. Personally, I don't like KC, and I am a fan of Denver, so I am just fine with how it turned out.
The Patriots beat the Dolphins 24 to 19, The Commanders beat the Eagles 27 to 10, and last night The Bears beat the Seahawks 34 to 17.
There are now no longer any undefeated teams in the NFL, but The Chargers are still the only team without a win yet this season.
Ouch!
