I'm still out of the flow and in quite bad form at the moment as more of my focus has been going to the Crypto markets and the entire setup of a 3 week break with the league back for 1 weekend followed by the cup really screwed up some of the momentum which I hope to find back in thecoming 3 weeks. 4 Matches today and I will keep things disciplined and low key for now just aiming to make it a green weekend.
Antwerp vs Charleroi
Antwerp managed to win by just 0-1 in the cup playing their A-Squad against Heist ad the coach his life is on the line after some poor performances in the league. In the previous away match against Westerlo they started quite good and made the 0-1 not undeserved but they were unable to keep the lead and an early red card in the 2nd half got them punished with a 5-1 score and their xg against remains extremely high at 2.43-3.33-2.65-3.42-3.38 on average in the last 5 matches. So Antwerp pretty much is on my list of teams to possibly oppose and it feels like the days of their current coach is numbered. They play at home against Charleroi who have been a legit team this season putting up very stable reliable performances and sitting in a deserved 3rd place. However, with Charleroi it always goes this way that they get in a streak where it's no longer good eventually. They won with a boring 0-1 score against Standard away in the previous week but also could have gotten a goal against which is somewhat of a pattern for them. They are at 1.51-2.08-1.05-1.24-1.2 xg against in the last 5 matches. Antwerp over the lasy 4 matches is #1 in combined xg at 4.02 and Charleroi us 5th at 3.34. For Charleroi though, most of the goals come when they play at home and I would be more surprised to see a wide-open start. I do like Charleroi but the odds are just a bit too much in line of the general expectation.I can see a scenario where Antwerp scores or where there is another collapse from them resulting in the end of their coach. So the match is better suited for in-game betting.

OH Leuven vs Lommel
OHL after a rather poor and unfortunate start of the season seems to have gotten in gear with better results and a deserved 1-1 draw in the previous week against Union as the +1.75 underdog. They especially have been putting up good starts of their matches and 1st halves in general winning the last 3. In the cup, they played a semi A-squad and narrowly qualified against a lower league team. Overall, I see them in a good flow and they are a team that I possibly looking to back. Scoring goals though remains one of their difficulties at just 1.05 on average in the last 4 games. Lommel is a mixed team as they somehow broke the long lasting unbeaten streak of Beveren in the previous week while they got crushed in the cup against Stvv. They had some matches where they mainly played defense while some others where they were very efficient or way too open against a good team which got punished. I do expect them more closed down again today. I feel like the over line is set a bit too high along with the corners line as both teams on average only created 3.38 & 3.75. I took 0.3 units on
1st Half under 1.25 @ 1.900, 0.2 units on
Under 2.75 @ 2.180, 0.1 units on
Under 3 @ 1.874. I'm also keeping an eye out on the corners.
Westerlo vs Beveren
After a really poor start of the season with many new players and no automatisms, Westerlo got themselves in a winning streak taking 12 on 12 and they continue to be a team who manage to always create chances and also finish them at 2.43-1.87-1.41-2.41-2.16xg created in their last 5 matches. Especially at home in the 2nd half they are really hight on goals at 68% with a 3.75 average over 4 matches. In the cup they also won witha 2-0 score and mainly rotated in their defense and overall I don't see any reason why they would not continue their good form at home today. Beveren also qualified in the cup against an amateur team but they broke their home winning streak the week before against Lommel while they have been quite bad away from home going 0W-4L against the asian handicap and 3-1 on the over. In the last away match against Kortrijk they started compact but were screwed by a red card and in the home match they lost they were without their captain Jans who is back now. The -0.25 line felt a bit soft and I took yesterday 0.3 units on
Westerlo -0.25 @ 1.870 purely based on the trends of both teams. I would not be surprised to see it turn around for both though which made me keep my stakes low. I'm not going for the over either as Beveren only created 0.36-0.61-0.78-0.95xg in their 4 away matches. At the same time, they won their away corners matchup in the last 3 away matches while Westerlo at home only created 4-3-1-3 corners. More goals in the 2nd half is also always an option in Wesertlo matches.
La Louviere vs Zulte-Waregem
La Louviere last season used to be a solid home team often stunting against top teams but that trend seems to be gone a bit as Club Brugge won with 1-4 and AA Gent won with 1-2. However, against the weaker teams they did ok (3-0 vs Kortrijk & 2-2 vs Kv Mechelen). They also showed some good mentality against Club Brugge who tried to control the game at some point. Zulte-Waregem started the season well and are in 8th place but they have been putting up some weaker performances as of late with 3 losses in a row which must be said came all against stronger teams (AA Gent, Anderlecht, Charleroi). They did manage to qualify in the cup and today will be a big test for them. The thing is that in the last away match against a poor team they also were not good and were helped by a red card for their opponents. So it feels a bit far fetched for them to be the favorite to me as La Louviere against weaker teams still showed quite stong at home and they showed some good things despite the 1-4 loss against Brugge. I took 0.3 units on
La Louviere +0.25 @ 1.840 and I'm also leaning towared the La Louviere Team Total Over and the Over in general.
