AA Gent vs Aarhus

AA Gent (77M) currently is 1st in the standings in Belgium and they are rightfully praised for their strong defense and overal quite mature play. However, I do see them as overperformers who also have not had any luck go against them. Last weekend against a rather poor Zulte they were helped by some comedy capers and a red card for the opponent. The week before they took a close win against Standard never getting shaken up but also helped by the opponent. The week before they played a really poor 2nd half but held it to 1-1 because Genk was really poor in the first half. Against Cercle before it was 0-3 thanks to an own goal, a cheap penalty and a late counter. So for me the results of AA Gent show that they are better than they actually are and at some point this should reverse back to the mean. Aarhus (38M) last year was the champion on Denmark but despite playing with mostly the same team, they have been struggling this season. They are only 1th in tkea league after 10 weeks and managed to take their first win last week. Often, the european leagues are completely seperate when it comes down to form. From what the AA Gent coach said, Aarhus is willing to play forward and at times are vulnerable on the counters. AA Gent still is without Ngom, while his replacement Paskotsi is questionable due to a family situation and Vergara is injured. I'm willing to take a gamble on Aarhus in this one but and splitting my bets between different options. I took 0.08 units on

Under 2.75 @ 1.816, & I'm leaning toward Aahus on the corners handicap but I'm waiting to potentially take that in-game or just before kick-off.
Sint-Truiden vs FC Iberia
Sint-Truiden (43M) is a team who is expected to suffer in the league after some key players left and the European Load is bound to cost them points. They started well in the league but since fallen back now with 4 losses in 5 matches and their coach is under fire all while there has been no European load yet. They have been a team who are on top of the rankings when it comes down to xg created around 2 a match on average while they also always get goals against. Today they play the champion of Georgia FC iberia (10M) and for both it's their first European match. The visitors are near the end of the season and are battling for the title which might make it so that they rotate today. For me, these matches with a clear -2 handicap favorite and a high total line are hard to have a read on and as usual, I'm just skipping them also because I know very little of the opponents and Stvv doesn't have the form currently to really be a -2 favorite.

Union SG vs Real Sociedad
Union (120M) has shown mixed faces this season. At times it looks like they are as good as last season but over the weekend they played rather poor not getting further than a 1-1 draw against OHL in a match where Union failed to create much. They are without a bunch of players today as Mac Allister, zorgane, syles, schooft, and some others are injured. So they barely have enough players left to put on the sheet which makes their bench very inexperienced. They play against Sociedad (292M) after taking a hot 0-3 victory start against a weak Plzen (60M). Sociedad rotated their squad in the first European match which made them lose it with 1-2 against Bournemouth and they should be looking to take the win today. As always, Union doesn't play in their home stadium but it isn't a major handicap based on past results. They are capable to overperform in matches like this and they usually are up to it. However, the many missings and Sociadad who have a much higher squad value needing to make up for a bad result makes me lean toward the visitors. High scoring matches tend to be the norm for Union in Europe more than the exception and they did lose multiple home matches with big scores in the past. 2-3 vs Marseille / 0-4 vs inter / 0-4 vs Newcastle. I was willing to go for a 0.1 unit pre-game bet on
Sociedad -1 @ 4.514 and I will keep an eye out for the over line ingame.
Dinamo Zagreb vs Anderlecht
Anderlecht (106M) has been a team with very mixed faces this season and they are quite unpredictable. Last weekend they had a total off-match against Cercle Brugge away but still somehow managed to get the 1-2 win very late in the match. In the first week in the Europa League their coach heavily rotated which made them lose 1-2 at home against Lyon. I'm quite sure today with a cup match ahead, he will field his A-Squad. The question though is if they will have a good or a bad day. Their defense has looked quite ok most times and often they managed to keep a clean sheet also because they aren't playing forward blindly. Dinamo Zagreb (78M) started the group stage not getting further than a 0-0 against Hapoel Be'er Sheva (27M) and they only managed to win 1 of their last 9 games in Europe. At the same time they are unbeaten in the last 16 matches at home. In this match it pretty much all depends on the form of the day especially when it comes down to Anderlecht. I see them capable of both losing with another overall bad performance or winning outright. odds feels about right and I'm staying away.
