The matchup between the Red Devils and the Spurs is sure to be a nail-biter

Finally, the beloved Premier League is back, and I couldn’t be happier that we have some action this weekend. I think this match means a lot more to both teams than people realize; I believe this game could be a turning point for both clubs and determine the rest of their seasons.

Both teams are in tough spots, but the Spurs’ situation is even more critical; despite some major signings, the team led by De Zerbi sits last in the overall standings with just 2 points.

For its part, United sits in 12th place with 5 points; a loss could see Tottenham catch up to them in points, so both teams must go all out for the three points, as a draw wouldn’t benefit either of them.

As for Manchester’s roster, Carrick’s team faces some uncertainty and key absences heading into this match. Both Dorgu and Mazraoui are questionable for this game, as they appear to have suffered injuries while playing for their respective national teams, and it’s unclear whether they’ll be available.

Both Mainoo and Rashford have been working hard to get back into shape, so we might see them in action for at least a few minutes—or perhaps one of them might even start. However, Carrick has ruled out Sêsko, as he isn’t ready to return yet, which will be a significant loss for United. Apparently, one option could be Carlos Ballena, who might make his debut with the team by starting the match.

Tottenham faces a similar situation with injuries, as both Micky van der Ven and Jan Paul van de Hecke are doing everything they can to be available for this match, having also suffered setbacks while playing for their national teams.

This is a serious issue for Tottenham, as they have a long list of injured players—including Dejan Kulusevski, Pedro Porro, Wilson Odobert, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Xavi Simons, among others—who apparently won’t be able to play due to injury. It’s tough for them not to have their full squad available.

As for the match, I hope it will be an entertaining one, with goals from both sides, and both teams going out to get the win from the very start. United will have home-field advantage, but the Spurs mustn’t let that intimidate them and should play smart.

In their last five matches, the Spurs have the upper hand with three wins, one draw, and one loss, so they could extend their lead over Carrick’s team.

I wouldn’t dare predict a winner—both teams have the players to win the match. It’s anyone’s game, and may the best team win.
