⚽ Arsenal Won, but Their Attack Still Have To Improve

Sometimes, getting the win is what matters most, but there are still things Arsenal need to improve if they want to compete for the Premier League title until the end of the season.
For much of the match, Arsenal had possession but struggled to turn it into clear chances. Nottingham Forest defended well, closed down spaces, and made it difficult for Arsenal's attacking players to find their rhythm. It was frustrating to watch Arsenal dominate the ball without creating enough danger in the final third.

I think Arsenal need to work seriously on their attacking play. If Nottingham Forest can make life this difficult for them, other clubs will certainly try the same approach. Teams will study this performance and look for ways to frustrate Arsenal, especially when they know the Gunners can struggle to break down a compact defence.
Noni Madueke deserves credit for coming off the bench and scoring the winning goal in the 80th minute. His directness gave Arsenal a different attacking option, and although the goal took a deflection, he still had to make the attempt. Sometimes, those are the moments that decide difficult matches.
However, Arsenal cannot keep relying on individual brilliance or deflected goals to rescue them. Their attacking players need to be more creative, make better decisions in the final third, and show greater composure when opportunities arise. Possession means very little if it does not lead to goals.
Nottingham Forest also deserve some credit. They were organised defensively and showed that they could compete with Arsenal. Their problem was at the other end of the pitch, where they failed to make their opportunities count. Murillo's late effort could have changed the story, but football can be cruel when a team fails to take its chances.
It's great to see Arsenal got the three points, but I believe there is still work to do. The season is far from over, and this is the right time for Arteta to address the team's attacking problems. If Arsenal want to maintain a serious title challenge, they must find ways to break down stubborn defences without making every match a struggle.
Winning ugly is part of football, and nobody will remember how beautiful the performance was if Arsenal eventually lift the trophy. But there is a difference between occasionally grinding out a result and consistently struggling to create chances.
I hope Arsenal use this match as a lesson and improve their attacking play before tougher challenges arrive.
