£100 Million for Alex Scott? Chelsea Must Think Carefully Before Making a Move

As a Chelsea fan, I would genuinely love to see Alex Scott wearing the blue shirt. For me, he could be an interesting option if Chelsea need to replace Enzo Fernández. I believe the club should always be thinking ahead and looking for players who can help strengthen the midfield for the future.

However, my excitement about the possibility of signing Scott comes with one big condition: Bournemouth must be willing to lower their asking price.
I understand that Bournemouth value their player highly, and I respect that. Scott is young, talented, and has time to develop even further. But when I hear a reported £100 million valuation, I cannot help wondering whether Chelsea should really spend that much on one player.
I want Chelsea to sign players who can improve the team, not just players who attract attention in the transfer market. If Scott is the midfielder the club believes can fill the gap left by Enzo Fernández, then I would support the move, provided the financial demands are reasonable.
Chelsea have to be smart with their money. We cannot keep spending huge sums simply because another club has placed a massive price tag on its player. There should always be room for negotiation, and I hope the Chelsea hierarchy will stand firm rather than agree to a fee that could be avoided.
I personally would welcome Alex Scott at Chelsea, but I would also understand if the club walked away because Bournemouth refused to negotiate. Supporting Chelsea does not mean agreeing with every transfer decision the club makes.
My position is simple: I want Alex Scott at Chelsea as a potential replacement for Enzo Fernández, but not at any price. Bournemouth need to lower their demands before this deal can make sense to me.
